Speaker of the Ukrainian delegation to the trilateral contact group on resolving the situation in Donbass and adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksii Arestovych in an interview with the Telegraph media agency said that the water in Crimea can be changed for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements or withdrawal of troops from Donbass.
“It (the position on the water) can only change in terms of very serious concessions from Russia, for example, the water in Crimea can be changed for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, the withdrawal of troops from the Donbas, the return of the TOTU on our terms. Theoretically, we could do this. But Russia is ready to withdraw? Why did it waste those same years, thousands of lives, sanctions?”, – he said.
