On Friday, May 28, in the occupied Crimea, another military exercise was held on engineering support for the actions of army corps units in defense and offensive. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.
“At the first stage of the exercise, military engineers carried out a set of measures for the engineering equipment of the positions of units in the defense of a water barrier. At the second stage, joint actions of engineering units and coastal defense units were worked out to ensure the overcoming and forcing of a water barrier during the offensive of the forces”,- the message said.
We remind that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held in the occupied Crimea. The Russian military exercises are destroying the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a flagrant violation of international law.
Earlier, NATO in its statement on Crimea condemned Russia's ongoing large-scale military build-up in Crimea and expressed concern over Russia's efforts and announced plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
