ANNOUNCEMENT: Ecological situation in Crimea as of 2020

On Monday, May 31 at 12:00, experts of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will present an online research on the topic: Features of climate change, environmental situation and the state of environment and climate monitoring on the territory of the the occupied Crimea as of 2014-2020.

Speakers:

Tetiana Podvorniak – Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center (moderator).

Members of the  Expert Council on Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development of Crimea:

Yevhen Khlobystov – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine;

Serhii Voloshyn – Candidate of economic sciences.

The organization's experts will cover the following issues:

1. Analysis of the state of the ecological and climate monitoring network carried out by the occupation authorities of Crimea.

2. Features of climate conditions and their changes on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula.

3. Active impacts with the aim of artificially increasing the amount of atmospheric precipitation to increase the inflow of water into water bodies in the occupied Crimea.

4. Ecological situation in Crimea as of 2014-2020.
