In the occupied Crimea, Russian security officials handed the Crimean Solidarity journalist Nuri Abdurashytov warning about the inadmissibility of breaking the law. The occupants advised the man not to attend the event dedicated to the anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars on May 18, 1944. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
It is noted that Abdurashytov receives such warnings every year from different security service officers.
“The journalist inquired about the meaning of this document, to which the district police officer replied: “I don’t know, the instruction came from the prosecutor’s office, we are obliged to bring it, and we brought it”,- the message said.
