On Tuesday, May 18 at 16:00, on the day of memory of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people, in Lviv, in the Museum Territory of Terror there will be a screening of the documentary film Witnesses of the 1944 Genocide, the author of which is the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

This film is dedicated to the investigation and recognition of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people as an act of genocide. In the testimony and memoirs of the heroes of the film – the fate of hundreds of thousands of other deported Crimean Tatars. The footage presented in the film is exclusive. They were recorded during court hearings as part of the criminal investigation into the 1944 genocide of the Crimean Tatar people. Some of the heroes of the film are no longer alive, but their testimony will forever remain legally relevant and will serve as a source of objective information about the terrible tragedy of the indigenous people of Crimea.
