On Tuesday, May 11, during a search, Russian security forces shot dead a citizen of Uzbekistan Aiub (Nabi) Rakhimov, who lived in the occupied Crimea. The occupants claim that the man resisted them during the search. This was reported by activist Lutfiie Zudiieva.
“In Simferopol, in the Dubky microdistrict, a Muslim – Uzbek Aiub (Nabi) Rakhimov was shot dead in his house. Yesterday he was seen at the iftar in the Simferopol Ak-Mechet district. According to the security officials, he resisted them during the search, but I am not going to believe the people who have already imprisoned more than 80 innocent people – Crimean Tatars”,- the message said.
The man's wife, Sakhiba Rakhimova, together with her son, who were taken away after the search, still cannot be found.
