On Wednesday, May 5, Trina Saha, the US representative to the UN, during a meeting according to the Arria formula, organized at the initiative of Russia, called on the Russian Federation to stop its aggression against Ukraine. In addition, the United States will not stop making efforts to end the occupation of Crimea.
“Russia should reduce tensions by concluding a ceasefire agreement, abandoning its actions to blockade parts of the Black Sea and withdraw the troops and equipment that it unilaterally concentrated in the occupied Crimea and around the borders of Ukraine. Russia should also end its hybrid efforts aimed at to destabilize Ukraine, including its ongoing disinformation campaign, of which we have become a part today”,- the message saidd.
Trina Saha stressed that the United States' support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity will never cease. She added that the US will not stop making efforts to end Russia's brutal occupation of Crimea.
