The pro-Russian publication News of Crimea published a statement by the so-called assistant to the president of Chechnya, Alaudinov, that an airfield was being prepared in Severodonetsk to create a NATO base.
In fact, the Severodonetsk airfield has never been prepared for the deployment of any serious military infrastructure. This was neither in the plans of Ukraine, nor even in the plans of NATO.
We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has launched a new column NATO in the media of the occupied Crimea, aimed at tracking fake information in the temporarily occupied Crimea about the values, goals and current activities of NATO and debunking this information.
