A meeting of the Public Council under the SEFC was held in Kyiv

On Monday, August 8, a meeting of the Public Council under the State Service of Ukraine on ethnopolitics and freedom of conscience was held in the office of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, the head of the Department of Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the Head of the Public Council Eskender Bariiev, the Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience (SEFC) Olena Bohdan, as well as other representatives of the Council.

During the meeting, the participants paid attention to the topic of the current state and ways to fulfill the requirements for Ukraine's membership in the EU in the part that concerns ethnic policy issues.

In addition, the details of the preparation for the conference were discussed, the purpose of which is to highlight the resistance of the ethnic communities of Ukraine to the aggression of the Russian Federation and its consequences for the ethnic communities of Ukraine.
