Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department of Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev congratulates all residents of Ukraine on the national flag holiday.
For all the years of Ukraine's independence, the national flag has become dear to me not only because it has the same colors as the Crimean Tatar flag.
All these years we have been working on the development of Crimea, the state flag of Ukraine, together with the Crimean Tatar one, was installed on different peaks of the Crimean mountains, we fought with this flag for our rights and freedom during both the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity. We held this flag for 8 months from the beginning of the occupation of Crimea over the building of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, this flag has become a symbol of the struggle between good and evil, democracy against authoritarianism, freedom against slavery!
I am sure that in the near future the state flag of Ukraine and the Crimean Tatar national flag will fly together over the Crimea!
