29 relatives of Kremlin political prisoners died during the occupation period of Crimea – CTRC

According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, there are 145 political prisoners in the dungeons of the FSB in the occupied Crimea. Unfortunately, the families of all these people are forced to experience incredible stress due to the illegal actions of Russia, which causes serious damage to their health.

During the occupation of Crimea died:

11 parents of political prisoners in Crimea, without waiting for the release of their illegally arrested children:

2. mother of Zevri Abseitov

3. father of Rustem Abiltarov

4. father of Rustem Sheikhaliev

5. father of Vadym Bektemyrov

6. mother of Rustem Murasov

7. Medzhyt Abliamitov's mother

8. father of Nariman Dzhelial

9. mother of Ruslan Mesutov

10. father of Muslim Aliev

11. Mother of Enver Omerov

9 father-in-law and mother-in-law of political prisoners of Crimea:

1. father-in-law of Rustem Sheykhaliev

2. father-in-law of Muslim Aliev

3. Ernest Ibrahimov's father-in-law

4. Enver Mamutov's father-in-law

5. Akim Bekirov's father-in-law

6. mother-in-law of Remzi Memetov

7. father-in-law of Marlen Asanov

8. father-in-law of Teymur Abdullaev

9. mother-in-law of Seyran Murtaza

6 grandparents of Crimean political prisoners:

1. grandfather of Ruslan Zeytullayev

2. grandfather of Server Mustafayev

3.grandmother of  Server Zakiryaev

4.  grandmother of  Arsen Dzhepparov 

5. grandfather of Akim Bekirov

6. grandmother of Ayder Saledinov

3 minor children of Crimean political prisoners, whose fathers were not allowed by the invaders to attend the funeral:

1. Ruslan Suleimanov

2. Emil Ziyadynov

3. Ernest Ibrahimov

Moreover, none of the political prisoners were allowed to bury their loved ones.

Also, with the beginning of the occupation of Crimea, many residents of the peninsula, who found themselves outside Crimea because of their political and civic position, could not attend the funeral of their parents due to criminal cases opened against them by FSB officers or threats of arrest:

3. mother and father of Riza Shevkiev

4. father of Hayana Yuksel

5. mother of Akhtem Seitablaiev

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center expresses condolences to the relatives of all victims of the occupation of Crimea. We strongly condemn such illegal and inhuman actions by the Russian security forces.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center calls on the international community to increase pressure on the Russian Federation in order to stop political persecution in Crimea, as well as to introduce personal sanctions against those involved in human rights violations in Crimea.
