The so-called magistrates court of the so-called Kyiv district of Simferopol fined the editor of the newspaper Qırım Bekir Mamutov 4,000 rubles, who is accused of abusing the freedom of mass information because he mentioned the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people in a UN report. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
It is noted that in the issue of the newspaper dated October 14, 2020 under the heading Situation of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine Mamutov posted not an article, but the Report of the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, which was published via the official website of the United Nations Organization at a meeting of the seventy-fifth session of the UN General Assembly.
“Still, you need to understand that this publication is a report of an official of an organization, an association, whose competence and powers are recognized in the Russian Federation on the basis of the decision to continue the USSR's membership in the UN, including the Security Council, adopted on 12/21/1991, and earlier the USSR was one from countries, original members of the United Nations”,- said Mamutov.
