Occupants held regular military exercises in Crimea

March 29, 2021

On Sunday, March 28, despite the spread of coronavirus infection, another illegal military exercise on mine action and anti-sabotage protection of the water area was held in the occupied Crimea with the implementation of practical grenade throwing and firing at the sea range in the Black Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

“According to the plan of the exercise, unidentified high-speed boats were found near the base of the Black Sea Fleet ships, which did not communicate in the common radio network on the pursuit and defeat of small targets”,- the message said.

We remind that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held in the occupied Crimea. The Russian military exercises are destroying the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a flagrant violation of international law.

Earlier, NATO in its statement on Crimea condemned Russia's ongoing large-scale military build-up in Crimea and expressed concern over Russia's efforts and announced plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
