On Monday, March 22 at 15:00, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine will hold the 18th session of the Crimean Discussion Club. The webinar on the topic 7 years of official recognition of the Crimean Tatars by the indigenous people of Ukraine: assessment of the consequences and prospects will be held via Zoom platform (link to registration below) and via the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Facebook page. We invite you to actively participate!

We invite everyone to participate in the webinar as part of the 18th session of the Crimean Discussion Club. Issues for discussion:

1. Preconditions for the adoption of the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine On the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding the guarantee of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people within the Ukrainian state.

2. State policy of Ukraine for the preservation and development of the ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious identity of the Crimean Tatar people as an indigenous people of Ukraine.

3. Legislative regulation of the protection and implementation of the inalienable right to self-determination of the Crimean Tatar people as part of a sovereign and independent Ukrainian state and consolidation of the status of the indigenous people of Ukraine.

4. Qurultay and Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people in the legal field of Ukraine. Practical mechanisms of interaction between the state authorities of Ukraine and the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
