Georgia strongly condemns the occupation of Crimea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia strongly condemns the occupation and annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation, as such actions pose a serious threat to international security. This was reported by the press service of the department.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia strongly condemns the occupation and annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation, as well as the attempt to forcibly change the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine – an experience that our country has already gone through. This practice of occupation and annexation poses a serious threat to international security and peace and stability”,- the message said.

It was noted in the statement that the firm and united position of the international community is crucial to counter aggression.
