Zelensky instructed the NSDC Secretary to prepare a draft Strategy for the de-occupation of Crimea

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to prepare a draft Strategy for the de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. This is stated in the presidential decree On certain measures aimed at de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

In particular, the President of Ukraine decided:

1. To form an Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the constituent summit of the Crimean Platform in Ukraine.

2. To approve the personal composition of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the constituent summit of the Crimean Platform in Ukraine.

3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine  has to ensure coordination of Ukraine's participation in the activities of the Crimean Platform.

4. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has To  to prepare a draft Strategy for the de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

5. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:

1) To develop and approve, within six months, the Strategy for the Development of the Crimean Tatar language for 2022 – 2032;

2) to develop and ensure the implementation of priority measures for the development of the Crimean Tatar language, in particular, on the approval of the alphabet of the Crimean Tatar language based on the Latin script;

3) ensure that Ukraine's international partners are informed about the measures taken to develop the Crimean Tatar language, including in the context of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages proclaimed by the UN General Assembly for the period 2022 – 2032 and at the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues,

4) to provide proper information support of measures for the development of the Crimean Tatar language.
