Head of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department of Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with the ATR TV channel, stressed that February 26, the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea, should not be a day of populist statements. On this day, the Ukrainian authorities should publish a report on actions towards the de-occupation of Crimea.
“This should be the date of not just any promises or intentions, populist statements. And this should be the day for the Ukrainian authorities to report to the Crimeans, to the Ukrainian people about what we have done, what steps have been taken and what results we have”,- noted Bariiev.
The Head of the Board of the CTRC noted that for the entire period of the occupation of the peninsula, he only hears about the intentions of the Ukrainian authorities, but does not see clear actions.
