The Crimean garrison military “court” in the occupied Simferopol extended the detention of a defendant in the latest Hizb ut-Tahrir case. Emil Ziyadinov, detained during the mass searches on July 7, will remain under arrest until July 7, 2021.
Let us recall that on July 7, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the Crimean Tatars' households in Bakhchysarai, Krasnogvardeisky, and Simferopol regions of the occupied Crimea. As a result, the officers detained seven people. They took them all to the Federal Security Service headquarters in Simferopol. On July 7, the Kievskiy district "court" of Simferopol placed Oleksandr Syzykov, a disabled person of the first group, under house arrest. On July 8, the Kievskiy district "court" of the occupied Crimea chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for Ismet Ibragimov, Zekirya Muratov, Vadym Bektymirov, Emil Ziyadinov, Alim Sufianov, and Seyran Khairetdynov.
