Russian security forces conducted new searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars

On Wednesday, February 17, Russian security officials conducted seven searches in the dwellings of the Crimean Tatars in Bilohirsk, Bakhchysarai, Simferopol, Sevastopol and Sovietsk districts of the occupied Crimea. The detainees are charged with Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

Searches were carried out at the following activists’ dwellings:

1) Abdulborii Makhamadamynov (Vynohradna street, Zavitne village, Sovietsk district). 10.26.1985;

2) Azamat Eiupov (Tymokhyn street 40, Bilohirsk). 12.02.1963;

3) Tymur Yalkabov (March 8 street 141, Simferopol);

4) Oleh Fedorov (20 Almynska street, Bakhchysarai);

5) Ernest Ibrahimov (Almynska street, Bakhchysarai).

6) Lenur Seidametov (Henov street 133, Simferopol).

7) Yashar Shykhametov (born on June 23, 1970), (Orlyne village, Sevastopol district). 23.06.1970.

“The FSB of Crimea reported that the search is being carried out within the framework of a criminal case. The FSB investigators told relatives at the places where the investigative measures were carried out that the detainees were charged with Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation”,- the message said.
