Ukrainian Radio resumes broadcasting in the occupied Crimea

February 10, 2021

Since February 2021, the First Channel of Ukrainian Radio resumed broadcasting in the medium-wave range in the occupied Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

It is noted that this became possible due to the fact that the National Public TV and Radio Company of Ukraine received full funding in 2021.

“The medium-wave transmitter of Ukrainian Radio in the village of Luch, Mykolaiv region, with a capacity of 500 kW, covers most of the territory of Ukraine (in the daytime – 60% of the territory, including the occupied territories, from evening to morning – the entire territory of Ukraine)”,- the message said.
