The so-called court of the occupied Crimea fined activist Temerianov

On Tuesday, January 5, the so-called Central District Court of Simferopol fined civil journalist Vilen Temerianov 2,000 rubles, who was detained by the occupantss on December 28. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“In the copy of the resolution, which the Crimean Solidarity possesses, it is reported that the proof of the correspondent’s guilt is the administrative protocol drawn up against Temerianov on November 3, 2020, for organizing a mass event. Then police officers found violations in his actions under two articles – 20.2 .2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Organization of mass simultaneous stay and (or) movement of citizens in public places, entailing a violation of public order) and 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Failure to comply with the rules of conduct when introducing a high alert regime)”,- the message said.

The journalist and his lawyer disagree with the decision and intend to appeal the judge's decision.

We remind you that on December 28, Russian police officers in the occupied Crimea forcibly took civil journalist Vilen Temerianov to the police station. He is accused of organizing a mass event, as evidenced by the report of the so-called police. On December 30, the so-called Central District Court of Simferopol terminated the proceedings in the so-called Vilen Temerianov case.
