Consul General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don Taras Malyshevsky visited Ukrainian political prisoners in Russian pre-trial detention centers. He met with Rustem Seitmemetov, Seytumer Seytumerov and Osman Seytumerov. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“All three told in detail about the tranfer through Krasnodar and Novorossiysk – first with the Gazelle bus, and then in the so-called Stolypin carriage, about two weeks' stay in the special block of the pre-trial detention center, about the conditions of common cells for 7-8 people. They are separated from each other. In general, the men did not express any complaints about the current conditions of detention”,- the consul said.

Malyshevsky also said that the Consulate General had planned to organize material assistance to those involved in the so-called case. These funds are used by political prisoners to purchase food and hygiene products in the detention center store.

We remind that on March 11, Russian security officials raided the dwellings of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisaray and the Bakhchisaray district. Searches were conducted in the dwellings of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seidamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seitmemetov, Ayder Suleymanov and Seytumer Seytumerov. The activists were detained. On March 12, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under house arrest. On March 13, the so-called Kyiv District Court chose a measure of restraint in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case in the form of detention.
