On Wednesday, December 23, during a meeting of the operational headquarters for countering COVID-19, the so-called head of the Rospotrebnadzor department for the occupied Crimea, Natalia Penkovskaya, said that additional restrictions would be introduced on the peninsula due to the coronavirus.
“On the eve of the New Year holidays and taking into account the epidemiological situation that we have on the peninsula, it will be necessary to introduce additional restrictive measures. They will all be reflected in the decree”,- she said.
Natalia noted that the situation is not easy, therefore social distance and the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory for everyone in crowded places.
We remind that since the beginning of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, 651 people have died from infection. At the moment, 28,557 cases of infection have been detected on the peninsula.
