Reznikov explained when Ukraine will supply water to the occupied Crimea

December 22, 2020

Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksii Reznikov, in a comment to the Suspilne media agency, said that Ukraine would supply water in tanks to the occupied Crimea in the event of a humanitarian disaster.

“There is nothing to discuss here: there will be de-occupation of Crimea, there will be water. When the UN humanitarian mission, the ICRC will come and say that there is a humanitarian disaster and the civilian population is suffering, then humanitarian convoys will be sent, water in tanks under the control of humanitarian missions. No one will supply water to military bases and military production facilities of the occupied Crimea”,- he said.

We remind that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a bill “banning water supply through the North Crimean canal to the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.”
