The so-called speaker of the parliament of the occupied Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, said that the peninsula is not ready to receive water through the North Crimean Canal, as new water conduits and new receiving stations need to be built again. This was reported by the Russian media agency TASS.
“Even if we assume that this (water supply from the mainland of Ukraine) is possible, then we are not ready. We need to build again new water pipelines, new receiving stations. These require colossal funds”,- he said.
Konstantinov said that they have their own plan, “it is not easy, the Russian president pays attention to solving problems with water in Crimea, knows all the problems in detail. So everything will be solved.”
