The occupants refused to broadcast video of the court hearings in the so-called cases of Ukrainian political prisoners to human rights activists, as there is no such technical capability. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“This is an unconditional blow to the principle of publicity and, based on the responses to human rights defenders, the court is not interested in observing it when it comes to this category of cases. It is not enough that these materials are frankly fabricated at the stage of pre-trial investigation, in a pandemic they are considered behind closed doors. So, of course, it is even easier to make unjust decisions and destroy the lives of innocent people”,- said lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.

It is noted that those who come to the Southern District Military Court as listeners are also not allowed to the court sessions, journalists are not allowed.
