On Friday, December 18, participants of the Russian initiative Strategy-18 held solitary pickets in Russia for the de-occupation of Crimea and in support of the Crimean Tatars. They unfurled posters with the inscriptions: “Oleg Prykhodko – 11 years for the ensign”, “Crimean Tatars are not terrorists”, “FreeCrimeanTatars”, “No! to deportation of Crimean Tatars to Russian prisons”, “Crimea is Ukraine”, etc. The corresponding photo report the participants of the action published via their Facebook page.
“We held another campaign of #Strategy_18 in defense of the Crimean Tatars on the Arbat street. We barely manage to prepare posters: every time there is new repression, new prisoners, they are not being prepared for exchange. They do not receive treatment even during the times of COVID-19 pandemic”,- the activists said.
