Press Secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov reacted to the strengthened resolution of Ukraine on the militarization of the occupied Crimea, saying that Russia has the right to do everything necessary to ensure its own security. The Interfax media agency reported about this.
“In this case, we are talking about the sovereign territory of Russia, where Russia, within the framework of international law and international obligations, is free to do everything that is necessary to ensure its own security”,- he said.
We remind that on December 7, the UN General Assembly supported the draft of a strengthened resolution of Ukraine on the militarization of Crimea by Russia. 63 countries voted for the relevant decision, 17 voted against it.
