The Supreme Court of Ukraine in cassation overturned the verdict of the ex-MP of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC Vasyl Hanysh, who had previously been found guilty of high treason. This was reported via the website of the Crimea.Realities media agency.
“The Supreme Court of Ukraine in cassation overturned the verdict of Vasyl Hanysh, ex-MP of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC, convicted of treason, and sent the criminal proceedings against him for a new appeal”,- the message said.
According to lawyer Andrii Rudenko, Hanysh is in the hospital and needs constant supervision.
We remind that on November 19, 2018, the Dnipro District Court of Kyiv sentenced the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC Vasyl Hanysh to 12 years in prison. He was found guilty of high treason.
