Russia will not discuss the issue of Crimea with USA – Ryabkov

December 1, 2020

During the Russian-American forum, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the Russian Federation is not going to discuss the issue of the occupied Crimea with the United States, since this issue simply “does not exist on the agenda.” This was reported by the RIA News media agency.

“We need to work harder to improve our relations. Especially with regard to Crimea, but there is nothing to discuss, this is not a problem at all, everything has been decided long ago, we are not ready to trade, exchange sanctions with the United States. If the United States wants to build up, please… We will not exchange sanctions with any US government in the future. This issue has been resolved, it is over. It does not exist on the agenda, it simply does not exist”,- he said.

We remind that earlier the Assistant Secretary of State of the United States in 2013-2017 Victoria Nuland in an interview with the Russian TV channel Dozhd stated that Washington would not be able to forget about the annexation of Crimea, since then the norms of international law were violated.
