Occupants held regular military exercises in Crimea

November 30, 2020

On Monday, November 30, despite the spread of coronavirus infection, another illegal military exercise was held in the occupied Crimea, during which the military practiced missile strikes on the ships of a mock enemy. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.

“During the exercise, the Bal and Bastion ballistic missile systems, which were performing tasks as intended in positional areas on the Crimean Peninsula and the Caucasian coast, found a mock enemy ship and took the target for escort. The crew of the frigate Admiral Makarov carried out the transition from the outer roadstead of the port of Feodosia to Sevastopol”,- the message said.

We remind that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held in the occupied Crimea. The Russian military exercises are destroying the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a flagrant violation of international law.

Earlier, NATO in its statement on Crimea condemned Russia's ongoing large-scale military build-up in Crimea and expressed concern over Russia's efforts and announced plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
