The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has simplified the procedure for crossing the administrative border with the occupied Crimea for children from 14 to 16 years old. They will be able to cross the checkpoint on their own if they have a birth certificate. This was reported via the Government portal.
“Since March 16, due to quarantine restrictions, the passage of citizens through all checkpoints of entry / exit on the demarcation line has not been carried out (except for admission on the basis of an indefinite range of humanitarian situations (death of a close relative, critical health situations, family reunification, etc.) etc.), children between the ages of 14 and 16 did not have the opportunity to apply for a passport of a citizen of Ukraine”,- the document said.
