On Wednesday, November 25, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision according to which Ukraine will not recognize Russian passports issued in the Rostov and Krasnodar Region, as this is a violation of the principles and norms of international law.
“Noting that the actions of the Russian Federation on the territory of certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol violate the principles and norms of international law, in particular, through attempts to spread Russian legislation, including by issuing passport documents in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation and the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, public authorities are obliged to respond appropriately to cases of violation of Ukrainian legislation”,- the message said.
