Director of the State Unitary Enterprise “Water canal of the Southern Coast of Crimea” Dmitry Bednov said that at the beginning of summer the reservoirs were filled to 70%, but during the holiday season in Yalta a record level of water consumption was recorded.
“It is worth noting that at the beginning of summer, the reservoirs were filled to 70%, but during the high holiday season, a record level of water consumption was recorded. And now it is not typically high for this time of year”,- he said.
He noted that in the absence of precipitation and without taking any measures to limit water consumption, the reserves will be enough until the beginning of next year.
