Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that international structures cannot rely on the opinion of the Ukrainian side on the situation with human rights violations in the occupied Crimea since Ukraine has no idea what is happening there. The press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported about this
“Many international structures make decisions, including on the humanitarian situation and on human rights in Crimea, without knowing the real situation, because, unfortunately, they are based on the opinion of the Ukrainian side, which has no idea what is happening there. The so-called experts make their conclusions, declaring themselves as experts on the Crimean issues, never having come there and not being able to fully understand what is happening there”,- she said.
We remind that on November 18, the Third Committee of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly approved the fifth draft resolution “The situation with human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine.” 63 countries voted for the corresponding decision, 22 voted against.
