On Tuesday, November 17, during the online conference The Way to the Warsaw Security Forum, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine would welcome all instruments and formats for strengthening NATO’s presence in the Black Sea region. The press service of the department reported about this.
Kuleba stressed that the only alternative to granting Ukraine a Membership Action Plan is Ukraine's membership in NATO.
“We are all natural allies in the Black Sea. Ukraine will welcome all instruments and formats for strengthening NATO's presence in the Black Sea region, which will also include the active involvement of Ukraine and Georgia”,- he explained.
In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed the international community about the threats of the growing militarization of the temporarily occupied Crimea and separately drew attention to the possible deployment of nuclear weapons by Russia on the peninsula.
