Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said that the key reason for the shortage of water in the occupied Crimea is its theft. He noted that law enforcement agencies will be involved to control this issue. This was reported by the Russian media agency TASS.
“The key problem of losses is theft. This also needs to be done, if necessary, law enforcement agencies need to be involved, you need to take control of where the unauthorized fence comes from, where the wrong metering devices are, where today people deliberately break or spoil metering devices, water their vegetable gardens”,- he said.
Khusnullin added that in Crimea “somewhere there is not enough water at home, and someone pours as much water without any count.”
