The Office of the Prosecutor General and the SBU reported the suspicion to an employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation, who in 2014 in Simferopol committed actions aimed at violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“In the course of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that in February-March 2014 an official of the special services of the aggressor country, while on the territory of Ukraine, namely in Simferopol of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, acting by prior conspiracy with other representatives of the FSB and the Armed Forces of Russia, performed actions aimed at violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Thus, a pre-developed criminal plan for the occupation and subsequent annexation of the territory of the peninsula was implemented”,- the message said.
It is noted that the FSB officer of the Russian Federation, by persuasion, bribery and threats, called on the servicemen of the Azov-Black Sea Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine, the Simferopol border detachment deployed in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, to take actions to the detriment of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, inviolability and defense capability of Ukraine.
