The Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva appealed to the UN Human Rights Council with a demand to give a separate assessment of Kyiv’s actions on the water blockade of the occupied Crimea. “We call on the HRC (UN Human Rights Council), OHCHR (Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights) and the HRC special procedure to give a separate assessment of Kyiv's actions on the water blockade of Crimea, which, among other things, grossly violates the right of the inhabitants of the peninsula to access drinking water”,- the message said.
