Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, during an online meeting, which took place as part of the general debate of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, called on the world community not to turn a blind eye to Russia’s attempts to silence human rights defenders, civic activists and journalists in the occupied Crimea. The press service of the department reported about this.
“The world community should not turn a blind eye to the attempts of a permanent member state of the UN Security Council to silence human rights defenders, civic activists and journalists in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and the Donbas under the guise of conducting counter-terrorism measures”,- the message said.
In addition, Dmytro Kuleba stressed that it is no less important to bring to justice all organizers, mentors and sponsors of terrorist activities.
