The annexation of Crimea poses a challenge to global security – Prime Minister of Sweden

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Stefan Loewen said that the annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia and the aggression in the east of Ukraine challenge global security and cause human suffering. This was reported by the Ukrinform media agency.

“Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol and aggression in eastern Ukraine are serious violations of international law and challenge global security and cause human suffering”,- he said.

In addition, Stefan Loewen said that Sweden will take over the chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in 2021 and the main priority will be “work on resolving conflicts.”
