On Tuesday, September 22, a Russian citizen from the occupied Crimea arrived at the Chonhar checkpoint, who wanted to get to mainland Ukraine. But due to the fact that she provided her Ukrainian passport, she was not allowed through. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“So yesterday, a woman arrived at the Chonhar entry-exit checkpoint from the occupied peninsula. In fact, she provided the passport of a citizen of Ukraine. However, the border guards immediately established that the document did not belong to her, because she had her real document with her. The foreigner got to Crimea illegally”,- the message says.
It is noted that for violating the procedure for entering and leaving Crimea, a Russian citizen was banned from entering Ukraine for a period of 3 years.
