Britain does not recognize the so-called local elections in Crimea and Sevastopol, held by Russia over the weekend. This was reported by the British Embassy in Kyiv via its Facebook page.
“The illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia was and remains illegal: we reaffirm our support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine,”- the department added.
