On Friday, August 28, during a press conference in Kyiv, Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea of the OCU Klyment said that the Ukrainian government avoids the topic of exchange of political prisoners, saying that these are classified materials. But Klyment believes that this is already a “buried issue”.
“Unfortunately, many of our compatriots still remain in Russian prisons and under investigation. I am very worried about the fate of Illia Dudka and Oleksii Bessarabov. Nobody talks about them at all. They should have been included in the exchange list in the first wave, but they were not included. Oleh Prykhodko – his psychological state is on the verge of collapse”,- said Klyment.
Klyment noted that when he asks questions about political prisoners, this issue is immediately closed. They begin to say that these are classified materials, the issue is classified, work is underway, “but these are not classified materials, this is a buried issue.”
