Ukraine informed Malaysia about the situation in the occupied Crimea

On Tuesday, August 25, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar met with the Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine Dato Raja Reza. The interlocutors discussed the situation with violation of rights in the occupied Crimea and stressed the need to attract a wide range of Muslim countries to participate in solving the problems of the Crimean Tatars. The press service of the Foreign Ministry reported about this.

“Special attention was paid to the violation of human rights on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as the militarization of the peninsula and the Black Sea-Azov region. The interlocutors stressed the need to attract a wide range of Muslim countries to participate in solving the problems of the Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea. In particular, it was about educational opportunities for representatives of the Muslim community of the Crimean peninsula”,- the message said.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the initiative to create a formalized international platform – the Crimean Platform, which should ensure the coordination of activities of Ukraine and foreign partners around the issue of Crimea.
