On Tuesday, August 18, the participants of the Russian initiative Strategy-18 held single pickets in Russia for the de-occupation of Crimea and in support of the Crimean Tatars. They unfurled posters with the words: “LIBERATECRIMEA: the indigenous Crimean Tatar people have the right to land and resources”, “Crimean Tatars are not terrorists”, “Unity is more valuable than fines”, “FSIN kills”, “Crimea is Ukraine”, etc. Corresponding photo report the participants of the event published via their Facebook page.
“Meanwhile, an urgent #amnesty is needed, since the camps and prisons are overcrowded. But the system is neither hot nor cold because of how many prisoners will die from coronavirus, tuberculosis, AIDS …”,- the activists noted.
