In the occupied Crimea, almost one and a half million tourists rested in July, of which Yalta received 500 thousand people. This was reported by the so-called deputy head of the administration of the city, Irina Romanets.
“Since the beginning of the holiday season, from July 1 to July 31, 1 million 432.8 tourists have visited Crimea. And we can say with confidence that 30% of them rested in our city. We also kept our statistics, according to which Yalta has already received 500 thousands of tourists. And if you count one-day tours and excursions, there were many more”,- she said.
Irina Romanets noted that sanatoriums are very popular in Yalta. In addition, it was possible to record that the city's embankment was visited by 249 thousand people in July.
