The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported on the suspicion of the so-called judge of the illegally created Simferopol District Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which in 2014 transferred to the service of the occupational judicial authorities and sentenced one of the leaders of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor’s office.
"In the course of the investigation of the criminal proceedings, it was established that the judge of the Simferopol District Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, after the occupation of the peninsula in 2014, switched to the service of the illegally created judicial bodies of the occupying state. He contributed to the formation and strengthening of the occupation administration, assisting the Russian Federation in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine”,- the message says.
In addition, this judge illegally sentenced one of the leaders of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people to two years in prison, who actively supported the pro-Ukrainian position. Now the suspect is on the wanted list.
