The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine condemned the holding of the next illegal military exercises in the occupied Crimea, which began on August 10, and handed over the corresponding note of protest to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian department.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine considers the illegal exercises of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, which began on August 10, 2020, in the territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, to be another evidence of the Russian Federation's open disregard for the norms and principles of international law, including the UN Charter, resolutions of the UN General Assembly, as well as the current legislation of Ukraine”,- the message says.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands from the Russian Federation to immediately stop internationally illegal acts against the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The department handed over the corresponding protest note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
