The Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN, in response to US calls for an end to human rights violations in the occupied Crimea, accused the United States of violating the rights of Native Americans. This was reported by the department via its Twitter page.
“In response to the call of the US Embassy in Ukraine in connection with the International Day of the World's Indigenous People, we call on the United States to stop the brutal violations of human rights of native americans and leave their territory”,- the message says.
We will remind that earlier on the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, the US Embassy in Ukraine called on Russia to stop the cruel violations of human rights of the Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea.
